The project manager is expected to:
* Establish a project plan specifying in particular the objectives and the scope, the schedule, the tasks and the expected deliverables, the review and approval cycle, the organization, reporting
* Monitor throughout the project the costs, the respect of the planning and the resources;
* Provide effective coordination of the project team by ensuring its motivation;
* Contribute to updating the business case;
* Make sure to identify and manage the dependencies, risks and issues, the hypotheses impacting his project;
* Contribute to the management of these at the portfolio level
* He is also expected to participate in increasing the level of maturity of the institution in terms of projects & portfolio management.
Expected deliverables:
* A PID (Project Initiation Document);
* A Project Status report;
* A Project resource plan;
* Any Project change requests;
* A project close out document.
* A contribution to the business case.
A follow-up and for some a contribution to the SDLC deliverables including in particular:
* Business requirement document;
* Functional and technical analysis (or a business blueprint);
* A test plan, a test cases set, the test reports.
* Etc.
A follow-up and for some a contribution to the deliverables of other IT processes: RFC, deployment procedure, routing script, etc.
Required profiles:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT process or IT governance project management;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in documentary project management;
* ITIL certified;
* The consultant must at least be able to interact (verbally and in writing) fluently either in French or in Dutch and must have at least a passive knowledge of the other language;
Relevant Skills/experience:
* Functional knowledge of SharePoint;
* Knowledge of document management tools;
* Demonstrated experience in the operational management of an IT department;
* An excellent knowledge of the Belgian public sector;
* Have Prince2 or PMI certification;
* Good knowledge of COBIT.
