1. You should be capable of working in an Agile environment understanding the ever-changing demands of the business taking into account the potential challenges faced by delivery teams.
2. You should possess knowledge of business analysis principles and techniques to enable eliciting and documenting business requirements.
3. Interact with Product owners and other business stakeholders to understand business priorities and problems.
4. Conduct Requirement discovery and refinement sessions with Product owner/s and key business stakeholders to detail the requirements from a business application point of view.
5. Use relevant experience in the business domain to guide the requirement gathering and refinement activities to reduce the time needed for backlog creation
6. Work with the development team on estimating effort needed for the backlog items
7. Participate in planning and prioritization of product backlog along with Product owner.
8. Understand business metrics to identify potential opportunities in the business application to improve customer experience, increase revenue and reduce cost.
9. You should be able to provide periodic demo of MVP features and get sign off from Product owners and business users post development.
10. You should be able to illustrate problems and scenarios using simple and effective tools.
11. You should be able to do an as-is system study and also be creative enough to visualize the to-be system. This should be done by taking into account the key business objectives.
12. You should understand the security and legal regulatory requirements and apply the same when designing features in a product/application.
13. You should use relevant data to drive decision making that will instill confidence in the decision-making process
14. You should be able to communicate to the business user community with clarity on the solutions proposed, seek their feedback and course correct any solution or decision.
Required Qualifications
• At least 6 years of experience in the Business Consulting activities
• Understanding of e-Commerce processes and Retail domain
• Work closely with the customer and project team to define business requirements
• Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities
• Capability & Feature prioritization within Rally or JIRA
• Owns Backlog and product Maturity
• Confirms capabilities and features get refined to the correct level
• Break down capabilities into features for the Delivery Teams
• Responsible to make sure the investment has a healthy backlog (6-12 months, based on capital available)
• Communicates regularly to the Release Train leaders impacted of new capabilities (scope) and business milestones
• Work with architects to gain approval from business owners and impacted stakeholders on Capability solutions
• Analytical and Communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Retail domain knowledge
• Experience in Commerce Cloud product (Headless)
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
