EPM Scientific are working closely with a key client who are seeking to hire a Freelance Inventory Planning/Control Manager on a full-time, remote contract lasting 12 months.

Skills:


  • Experience in planning, operations, logistics, SC
  • Experience in Pharma sector (J&J = plus)
  • Experience with SAP (OMP = plus)
  • Experience in Large Molecule
  • Strong negotation skills
  • Ability to prioritize issues to support the customer and SC requirements
  • Flexible hours to support US, EMEA and Asia-Pac work schedules if needed
  • Proficient in MS Excel (minimum ability to create V-lookups and pivot tables)


Key responsibilities:
  • Set up volume plan, detailed pland and material plan taking into account operations efficiency, inventory, stock cost, customer service
  • Manage improvement projects
  • Communicate forecasts and priorities to external sites
  • Communicate and plan artwork changes effectively between internal and external partners
  • Create and maintain purchase orders and SAP transactions
  • Create and maintain relationships, internaly and externally that allow plants to interpret demand and inventory requirements and respond with the right capacity, products and schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Proactive identification of issues that may impact supply, manage short and long term planning activities/processes and day-to-day planning, QA and customer issues such as, retrieve, interpret and monitor demand and sales trends, calculate safety stock, manage inventory levels, resolve mismatches/payment issues, lead monthly renewal process, collect monthly supplier performance metrics and create/update orders to external suppliers
  • Follow global monthly planning schedule to deliver plans to downstream plants in OMP
  • Create new and ensure master data is accurate and updated as required for reliable MRP/ERP outputs
  • Supports S&OP and represent executive reviews when needed. Develop supply plans in support of new launches
  • Ensure processes and systems are in place to support the new product launches
  • Track and report OTIF, SLOB, Inventory targets, Demand Order Coverage, STEM Adherence, stock outs, and on-time launch metrics
  • Maintain training compliance
