For our retail customer we are looking for a Brand & (UX) Design System Expert (m/f/d) - 80% remoteYour tasks:
Organisation and Communication:
- Organisation and moderation of bi-weekly JF
- Plan and coordinate and document design sprints
- Preparation, moderation and documentation of quarterly workshops of the Digital Design Collective
- Represent the design system’s mission, library, and process to other groups, including product managers, content specialists, and other design and development
Project Management:
- Monitoring of workflows and project progress, status/task lists, timings and to dos
- Clarify and plan execution of scope
- Task creation (description, definition of to-dos and responsibilities), prioritization, monitoring and documentation across multi-disciplinary teams
- Internal communication (exchanges, alignments, approvals)
- Monitor and coordinate release planning activities
- Identify, prioritize, and monitor task progress of design, development, and documentation across team members
- Report team and system progress regularly to brand director
- Provide the basis for regular decision making by global brand leadership or the digital design collective
Brand Management:
- Represent brand behaviour and design principles in design system processes
- Challenge the execution to balance best possible execution with the premium position and aspiration of the brand
- Follow and adhere to existing brand design codes
- Manage, and oversee the articulation of brand codes in digital elements
- Drive and monitor execution of linking elements
- Ensure brand consistency and coherence to contribute to the future brand equity of the brand though digital touchpoints
Your qualification:
Project Management
- Organize, monitor, and steer implementation of the customers Digital Design System
- Establish the process and framework for our Design System
- Establish UX framework
- Highly skilled in Agile Methods as well as traditional Project Management
Stakeholder / Change Management
- Linking departments and functions
- Establish and maintain relationships between UXDesign at Smarthome, Amsterdam and central Brandmanagement Management
UX Design / Brand Design
- Profound understanding of central brand management processes, ideally in premium manufacturing sector
- Experience in UX/UI Design, particularly Design Systems
- Systems Lead should bring some experience in design and/or development
