Role Purpose
The role of the Risk and Controls Associate will support the implementation and remediation exercise for the client, undertaking quality checks on a population of risks and controls, providing written and verbal feedback to control owners, and providing support and coaching through the remedial activity.
Requirements
- Deliver high standards of quality
- Develop and maintain knowledge of policy and processes to ensure consistent competency and KPIs are met
- Effective communication
- Monitor own performance to ensure personal targets standards are met
Essential Experience
- Experience in an operational risk/control environment
- IT literate, proven experience of a working knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
- Articulate in both written and verbal communication
- Proven experience of working in a role where attention to detail is critical
Desirable Experience
- Understanding of working in an operational environment
- Experience working in financial services
- Experience of working in a QA/QC capacity
