Project Accountant/Financial Analyst/Finance BA, IFRS7/9, Fixed Income/Derivative Accounting, Banking/Insurance, Subledger
Investment Accounting team of global FS business need a Project/Financial Accountant with proven experience and a solid knowledge of Financial Instrument accounting, specifically Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange and strong BA skills and experience. You should have a strong appreciation of Fixed Income Securities, Derivatives and loans from a nuts and bolts accounting perspective as well as relevant international GAAP and business clarification requirements. You must be comfortable with review and analysis of the Financial Accounting for Loans, Fixed Income Securities and Derivatives in this very hands on role.
You will be tasked with business analysis of as-is and to-be sub ledger accounting requirements, documentation of accounting processes, writing technical specifications of required accounting functionality, communication of requirements to application developers and execution of functional testing. You will perform root cause analysis on identified defects and resolve accordingly.
You will have gained experience in an Agile environment and be a trusted expert on Investment Accounting requirements and execution, including managing financial reporting (Monthly, quarterly, annual reports).
