Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidate for a 10 month contract with a leading Asset Management organisation.
This a Senior Business Consultant/Change Management specialist with a specific need for FX regulatory skills as part of their criteria. We are looking for this person to not only have core BA skills, but to come in and add value as a SME for EMIR and CFTC.
Please note the role will be inside of IR35 however there is a large rate range considered for umbrella company candidates depending on the level of applicant.
Duties:
- Business, technology and financial feasibility assessment of product/project opportunities
- Documentation of business requirements using a range of elicitation techniques
- Ensure all BRDs are well documented/detailed and responded/approved in a timely manner.
- Work with SMEs and IT to ensure successful handover of requirements
- Experience in test planning and execution, defining UAT test strategy, scenarios and framework
- Traceability of requirements from scope/requirements through to testing and implementation
- Self-managing tasks, effort, issues and risks throughout the project
Tasks & responsibilities:
. These resources are also able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD, and DRP sessions, etc.
Communication:
. Management of Sponsor and Stakeholder relationships and expectations
. Communicate status weekly (and ad hoc) to stakeholders
Relationship Management:
. Strong relationship management and collaboration with senior business and technology stakeholders
. Strong vendor management to ensure successful deliverables at all stages of project
Initiation and Implementation:
. Scope definition including current state operating model
. Develop a strong and deep understanding of the business units supported
. Target state operating model definition following market standards
. Implementation through operational readiness and migration activities
Facilitate Process Improvements:
. Proactively identify process improvement enhancements to gain efficiencies
. Look at new skills and techniques that could be used within the team to improve business analysis
. Knowledge share project information or domain expertise across business analysis partners globally
Qualifications:
. Individual with a strong Regulatory background, specifically for CFTC and EMIR, and within the FX space
. Ability to lead, plan and contribute to complex testing phases
