Content & Merchandising Manager - £300 a day
The Company
Our client, a major international airport, is looking for a talented Ecommerce Content & Merchandising Manager to join them for a 12-month contract.
The Role
As Ecommerce Content & Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible behind creating content for merchandising on the website. Your main objective is to drive traffic and increase conversion rates. Focus will be on maximising sales and profitability as well as identifying opportunities to achieve an overall goal of revenue growth and ROI improvements.
This is a role that calls for working knowledge in content strategy, digital marketing, copywriting, branding and SEO. You will also need seasonality and data knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
- Create/deliver reports on a weekly and monthly basis to stakeholders
- Create/deliver high-quality and engaging content to compel customers
- Manage key online partner relationships
- Create and coordinate on-brand content with a focus on SEO practice
- Manage the online product inventory (imagery, descriptions, specs)
- Create and deliver an integrated marketing plan with the marketing, brand, and CRM team
- Set-up and maintain on-site promotions - this includes 3rd party integrations such as product recommendations, upsell landing pages, cross-sell etc.
Skills Required:
- minimum of 8 years' experience in a digital environment
- minimum 3 years of senior management experience
- Thorough knowledge of data collection and processing
- Thorough knowledge of distance selling legislation and best practice
- Retail/travel/hospitality sector experience is desirable but not mandatory
