My client, a multinational healthcare and vaccine manufacturer with multiple sites in the U.K, including Cambridge, is seeking to hire an experienced Business Continuity Manager to support the GFS (Global Financial Services) Director of Risk Management & Compliance to maintain and further develop effective business resilience across GFS.
The Job:
- Supported by the GFS Risk & Compliance Director develop and maintain a plan to ensure that GFS Business Continuity meets requirements
- Create/update the GFS BC Framework in line with the GlobalStandards
- Develop and implement a plan to ensure existing BC plans (by process tower) are reviewed and updated in
- line with the template BCP including reviewing and updating existing BIAs (Business Impact Assessments) as needed
- Carry out new BIAs as required for new activities/processes implemented in GFS
- Working with the GFS Risk & Compliance Director and the Finance Librarian ensure that Encore(GFS Failover application) data is maintained, and appropriate governance is in place over it
- Support GFS Risk & Compliance Director in ensuring appropriate BC is in place
Have you:
- Strong experience in Business Continuity planning creation
- Experience of business continuity planning within a finance/shared service organisation
- Experience of completing business impact assessments- reviewing & updating
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to be hands on updating plans, reviewing documentation and arranging workshops
- Experience of working with diverse complex global teams and processes and senior leaders
