Up to £530 p/d (Inside role via Umbrella)

Description:

The Data Modeller/Engineer will be part of an agile scrum team, so duties will include attending daily scrum stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and planning meetings. The Data Engineer will also be expected to demonstrate incremental developments of architecture learning to the business. Understanding how to SPIKE and estimate stories is an essential requirement to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery. The Data Engineer will research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation whilst working closely with the software engineers, scrum team members (particularily Data Scientists and Data Analysts), Product Management and Technical Operations as well as business users and Senior Management, as required. You will be responsible for understanding and developing the requirements of solutions aimed at modernising and transforming the business. The product roadmap includes a number of data focused tools and solutions, being delivered via web apps, AWS, PowerBI, the Azure stack and Hyperledger blockchain platforms. The Data Engineer will also be responsible for helping the product owner(s) to define the product backlog by consulting members of the stakeholder and scrum teams. This is an ongoing activity throughout the lifecyle of the product.

The Product Owner will take ownership of ensuring all the key requirements are captured in the backlog. Act as key contact between the business and IT for driving initiative to implement a standardise process in each country to ingest own and supplier products. Its desirable to have some experience in Fresh and Ultra-fresh product with an ingredient management. The Product Owner will own the deliverables and ensure a common agreed understanding or the delivery scope from proposal through to acceptance.

. Proven experience in retail and supply chain for a product induction and process re-engineering initiative
. End to end implementation experience for a Product Mastering tool
. Engage with other product owners, development team and business stakeholders to understand business needs, solutions and develop appropriate vision and roadmap
. Manage relationships with key stakeholder's ad ensure clear and suitably regular communication is maintained at all stages within the project life cycle
