Advertising Manager

Our retail client are looking for an Advertising Manager to join them on a contract basis within their Financial Services area.

You would lead end to end delivery of all advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness and consideration.

Primary Outcomes & Accountabilities

  • You will be accountable for advertising campaign management and delivery across paid media channels for all areas. Manage relationships with agencies. Evaluate effectiveness of advertising. Work closely with Marketing to deliver end to end campaign activity. Ensure insight and measurement is in place for all campaigns.
  • You will develop and implement the plans for individual advertising campaigns as part of the overall advertising & marketing strategies.
  • You will manage workflow & processes across both the internal advertising team and our agency partner teams to deliver the campaigns on time & within budget, ensuring they are effective, efficient and legally compliant.
  • You will work with FS internal teams to identify appropriate, robust quality, product, value & service stories which will support the marketing strategy.
  • You will commission both creative & media agencies with written briefs for each campaign, ensuring the brief is based on the sound analysis and interpretation of customer & market insight and learning from previous campaigns.
  • You will actively liaise with the relevant internal teams on the specific selection of products to feature in advertising, to ensure all claims are 100% accurate & true. Ensure accuracy of all claims & supporting terms & conditions are fully compliant with the CAP & ASA codes and are legally compliant with all FS regulations.
  • You will ensure all stakeholders are consulted at every relevant stage of the process as appropriate and informed of the final plans to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns.
  • You will evaluate and make recommendations on creative concepts and final creative and media plans and ensure they are approved by the relevant stakeholder. Manage the production process to ensure the final ad delivers against quality expectations, remains within budget and meets its objectives.
  • You will manage the media planning process throughout planning, booking and delivery.
  • Ensuring each media plan is fully evaluated and reach, frequency, standout & ROI are maximised.
  • Trial & review new media channels.
  • You will plan, forecast and report against campaign budgets.
  • Manage budget for each campaign to maximise return on investment.
  • Ensure all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • You will monitor and report performance of each campaign, recommending changes both in flight & annual changes where appropriate.
  • You will compile 360 degree post campaign activity reports.

  • Experience of working in financial services marketing
