EMEA Payroll Specialist

LHH are working with a multinational organisation in Surrey that is looking for an interim payroll specialist on a 6 month contract, which will most likely extend. It is paying £25ph PAYE and offers hybrid working.
The main function of the role is to ensure that employees across EMEA are paid accurately and on time. The position is based within the EMEA HR Shared Services hub and the emphasis is to provide full payroll services to the EMEA region.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to work with a friendly and dedicated team of payroll professionals in a large multinational organisation.
Responsibilities

. Co-ordinating and processing payroll for a number of countries within the EMEA region with the outsourced payroll provider
. Inputting, checking and reconciling the payroll information to achieve accurate, timely and compliant payments to employees, government agencies and third party providers (pensions, insurances etc)
. Resolve issues with the local payroll vendors as they arise
. Answer payroll related queries from employees, local HR, Finance etc
. Manage the ongoing relationships with stakeholders
. Assist with project work as it arises

SKILLS WE LOOK FOR
Essential Skills
. Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
. EMEA payroll experience
. Demonstrate an ability to organise and prioritise their workload and manage multiple tasks/deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and level of service.
. Good knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory obligations in EMEA countries
. Strong PC skills, including intermediate Excel skills
Nice to have
. Previous experience working in the Banking industry or experience working within a large multinational corporation
. France payroll experience
. Language (ideally French)
. Understanding of Payroll Accounting/Finance
