Description:
A delivery manager is accountable for the delivery of products and services and the performance of the team. Will build and maintain teams ensuring they are motivated and collaborating. Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques.
The complexity or breadth of products or teams will vary in this role, depending on the context.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at a Senior level, Experienced Technical Delivery Lead Ideally network experience,
- Knowledge of Life circle Experience of leading technical delivery of ideally in mobile infrastructure implementations
- Able to operate in a complex landscape and be successful in an environment when success depends on supporting and providing positive challenges to other organisations who are responsible for delivery.
- Able to operate strategically and tactically to support SRN
- A strong communicator, able to bring clarity to complex issues and able to work with partners to agree solutions
Typical Skills:
- Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use and recognise when something does not work.
- Help teams to manage and visualise outcomes.
- Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them, whilst managing their expectations.
- Report on financial delivery and monitor costs and budget, knowing when to escalate issues.
- Recognise when to move from one stage of the product life cycle to another and ensure the team is working towards the appropriate service standards.
