Data Analyst
Based in Glasgow a Data Analyst is required on a 6-month contract basis to work for a major defence client.
Hourly Rate: £15.80 PAYE or £20.77 Umbrella
Overview
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders to scope and perform advanced HR analytics relating to People Management and any other key HR indicators of interest to the business.
- Responsible for analysing and evaluating data and reports; feeding back the findings to relevant stakeholders; and advising on changes and improvements.
- Create and deliver presentations and training across the business when required.
Skills
- IT literate on all Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Strong skills in Business Intelligence toolsets (such as Tableau, Microsoft BI, Excel, Alteryx, etc)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel data manipulation and formulae
- Excellent data presentation and visualisation skills
- Strong ability to interpret requirements and analyse raw data, with an eye for trends and patterns
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes advantageous
- Experience in data warehouse technology is desirable
- Relevant data analysis experience and/or qualifications
- CIPD Qualification desirable
- Relevant data quality and data governance experience and/or qualifications
