Location: Location flexible, need to be prepared to be on site in any of the following locations 2 days per week if required: London, Milton Keynes, East Kilbride

Pay rate: £200pd Inside IR35 MAX

Duration: 12 months

Position: Test Coordinator and Administrator - SC Cleared

Candidates must have active SC Clearance that has been used within the last 12 months

Core day to day duties:

  • Working with test manager/supporting test manager
  • Making sure person who is doing testing has right test scrips
  • Tracking testing - how they are getting on, listening testers
  • Team feedback
  • Keeping track of process/progress
  • Coordinating

Some test scripts experience desirable

The Test Coordinator and Administrator is responsible for Supporting the Test Manager in providing regular testing cycles for ongoing system changes and evergreen updates. By organising the availability of people, test scripts and other pre-requisites ahead of testing. Coordinating and supporting testers during the test periods. And updating testing reports and logs as directed by the Test Manager.

As a Test Coordinator and Administrator, you will:

1. Work with the Test Manager to plan and coordinate Test cycles in line with the demand road map and HSF Test Strategy. Tracking activity across the HSF and the Run Partner.

2. Plan and coordinate testing with a wide range of stakeholders drawn from HSF, other areas of FCDO and other HSF customers including OGDs and PAGs.

3. Ensure each person conducting testing is aware of and available for the dates they are needed.

4. Ensure each person conducting testing is provided with the Test Scripts, Test Results forms, access to the appropriate test environments and anything else they need to perform the tests assigned to them.

5. Proactively track testing progress, identify testing coordination issues as they arise, resolve where possible and escalate to the Test Manager those you are unable to resolve.

6. Analyse feedback from testers and take action to resolve recurring issues, such as proposing fixes and improvements to test scripts.

7. Proactively track testing progress and update reports showing progress and issues scores/percentages.

8. Contribute to shaping reports and dashboards that clearly communicate testing plans, status and risks.

9. Engage and participate in continual service improvement, service optimisation, customer satisfaction.

10. Support risk mitigation as appropriate.

11. Work collegiately and collaboratively with colleagues (including contractors), stakeholders, partners and related organisations

Mandatory

Experience of planning and coordinating activities involving many people

Experience of proactively coordinating activities, answering queries and resolving blockers in Real Time (day-to-day).

Experience of coordinating and administrating test scripts and test progress reports across a portfolio of digital products.
