Technical Manager, Systems Engineer - £570 per day INSIDE IR35 - 6 months (extensions highly likely) - one stage virtual interview - SC clearance required - Newport - Aerospace SectorYolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Technical Manager with a strong system engineering background to work with one of the country's leading aerospace and defence companies. This role would also be a great opportunity for a systems engineering wanting to move into a technical manager role as this role sits between an engineering team and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical assurance of the development, ensuring that the development is compliant requirements and architecture as set out by the System Architect and that it is carried out observing the processes as agreed with the Chief Engineer.
- Manage specialist engineering teams to co-ordinate and achieve work packages, including managing engineering requirements, risks, and issues.
- Experience in full project life cycle
- Experience in systems design and implementation of data communication
- Experience with Embedded software
- High level understanding of work package definition, estimation, and planning
