Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector with offices across Scotland, is currently looking to recruit a Head of Business Change for an initial 3 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £580/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will be a hybrid of working at home and the office.

Responsibilities:

-Champion and develop change activities across the business both within the organisation and externally with service providers.
-Lead the change implementation of process improvement, leading and steering team and project meetings, building and maintaining effective team relationships, monitoring progress and resolving barriers to improve processes and create efficiencies.
-Collaboration with senior stakeholders within the organisation to adopt and drive the necessary changes to ways of working and our internal processes.
-Create business change stakeholder map in readiness for change activities

Essential Skills:

-Significant experience in driving and managing business change from initiation to completion in an Agile delivery environment.
-Experience working within a programme or project management function.
-Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies & improvements.
-Digital delivery transformation experience and experience of working with agile teams and in agile operating models and demonstrable track record of delivery
-Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to think on your feet, lead teams and drive toward results.
-Excellent communicator (both oral and written skills) and a great listener.
-Ability to work both as part of a team and be self-motivated with great interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work on a strategic level ensuring any transformation programme meets the strategic direction of the organisation.
-Demonstrable working knowledge of IT systems.
-Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical parties and to facilitate and enable collaborative change discussions.
-Ability to work effectively with internal customers to proactively, responsively manage change projects that help to transform our organisation along with developing capability within our different directorates to drive and sustain culture change.
-Demonstrate analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
-A degree or equivalent in relevant discipline or formal Programme or Project management qualification (MSP, Prince2, APMP, PMI)

Desirable Skills:

-Waterfall change experience.
-Agile Change experience
-Experience of working in public sector
