Role: Lead Delivery Owner (Support Project Manager)

Location: Corsham (1-2 day/week)

IR35: Inside

Rate: £515/day (Umbrella)

Duration: 12 Months

The Role:

Responsibilities:

The Support PM will liaise with the project to ensure activity towards associated milestones is communicated, tracked and delivered. Stakeholder engagement across complex boundaries is a key feature of this role.

The identification and management of all RAIDO items is essential in the tracking and escalation of activity and the monthly reporting will ensure that project status is shared widely. RAIDO is to be recorded in the approved tooling.

Key Activities:

  • Act as the Lead Delivery Officer (LDO) Support role PM,
  • Maintain a clear and direct communication channel and information flow.
  • To act as the focal point for all project matters.
  • Provide visible and effective leadership to deliver the required outcomes.
  • Support, establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with organisation practice.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of controls and ensure that recommendations from external reviews are acted upon.
  • Build strong networks both internally and externally to aid the delivery of project milestones.
  • To monitor project output via recognised project management techniques including the production and management of a Project Schedule, RAIDO etc.
  • Ensure all risks and issues are reported and managed and to escalate where appropriate.
  • Use PMO sanctioned tools for project management and RAIDO management to ensure the correct level of visibility for representative plans and milestones.
  • Report project activity on monthly Reports.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to track project activity.
  • Attend project governance meetings and ensure a coherent message to the customer.
  • Support the delivery of outputs to meet project requirements.
  • Provide project management oversight of all outputs and correct stakeholder management techniques to enable meet objectives and prevent reputational damage.
  • Coordinate business cases with Finance and Commercial and where necessary with budget holders.
  • Raise and coordinate implementation of change requests.
  • Work with programme SACs and Programme Accreditor to ensure outputs' security assurance is correctly planned and delivered for both standard product delivery and bespoke items.
  • Work with Programme case officer to ensure JSP604 compliance for delivered items.

Essential:

  • Digitally lead PM
  • Forward thinking/Planning ability
  • Stakeholder Management - Large/Complex stakeholders
  • Demonstration of delivering technical problem (Cyber)
  • APM or equivalent
  • Security Clearance: SC CLEARANCE

Desirable:

  • Delivery Projects in National Police.
  • Understanding of Home Office systems.
  • MoD/Defence Digital delivery.
