Location Strategy Director

You will manage the end-to-end development and delivery of a new global location strategy & implementation programme for a major PLC providing clear direction and supervision to those you need to deliver through. You'll be able to lead and manage the engagement of stakeholders, providing regular clear and concise reporting of status, risk, and progress.

This role will have high visibility within the organisation and you will be working with all parts of the organisation to co-ordinate end-to-end delivery.

Role

*You will drive the location strategy and roadmap, balancing both talent strategy and financial goals
*Lead research, analysis, and business case development for new market entry, bringing deep expertise and lessons learned from helping companies expand their global footprint
*Support location selection and decision-making; own deliverables for Executive Steering Group discussions and sign-off
*Overall delivery responsibility for a portfolio of workstreams within the programme. Responsible for ensuring these workstreams are delivered successfully across all relevant departments.
*Lead the Location Readiness Team, a cross-functional team across multiple workstreams (People, Finance, Tax, Payroll, Legal, Corporate affairs, Spaces, IT, Security, Communications, etc.)

Experience

*Extensive experience of delivering new locations for global organisations including transition/implementation planning through to on-the-ground execution
*Experience in managing multi-national and multi-functional programmes, covering scope management, plan management, budgetary control, change control, risk and issue management.
*Adept at working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority, from Exec members to the delivery teams.
*Strong commercial experience with extensive experience of working with, and partnering with, exec & director level stakeholders on large scale programmes
*You're have the right blend of technical expertise, pragmatism and great interpersonal skills - to land the right solution and energise teams to pull together and deliver

This will be a 6-12 month+ engagement in a hybrid role with onsite in London as well as working remote + travel
