Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Analyst
£522.50 p/d PAYE or £670.47 p/d Umbrella

The purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity and quality of the liquidity regulatory reporting. This will require the job holder to be actively engaged with the broader Regulatory Reporting Remediation Programme (RREP) across the Group and its operating entities, including development of the documentation, control frameworks and providing liquidity reporting SME knowledge and experience into the programme. The role holder will be required to build engagement with key stakeholders and work closely with colleagues to ensure that the liquidity reporting remediation and future operating model meet internal and external expectations. Specifically, the role holder will also oversee development of key internal and regulatory procedure documentation.

Role Purpose/Responsibilities:
  • The role is based in the Group Treasury in the UK within Global Finance. The role requires a good degree of independence and initiative and the jobholder will be expected to work with minimal guidance and be able to manage senior relationships autonomously.
  • Liquidity reporting interpretations and decisions will directly impact the business in terms of P&L allocation (liquidity premium/recharge) and product design and due diligence
  • This is a global role requiring the holder to work closely with ALCM teams in every Region as well as Change Programmes and Operations teams to ensure that reporting decisions are applicable in all jurisdictions and can be operationalized
  • The role holder will provide SME input into the production of the procedure documentations
  • First line interpretations/implementation of existing internal and external policy with appropriate escalation
  • Support the Global Head of Liquidity with the remediation of reporting issues
  • Project Management Team for support into the remediation programme
  • Day-to-day interaction with Regional ALCM and Markets Treasury teams
  • Treasury Risk Management for approval of documents
  • Internal Audit, Finance Control Office, Regulatory Assurance and Liquidity Control Environment Meetings
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across the Finance Function, Group Treasury and with external stakeholders
  • Collaborate positively as part of one team' with other members of ALCM reporting functions across the Group
  • Develop an effective liquidity risk policy team
  • Develop best practice in the management and monitoring of liquidity risk
  • Liquidity reporting enhancements as required to meet organisational objectives and deliver a best practice' liquidity regulatory reporting framework
  • Provide input into all regulatory and compliance matters with regards to Liquidity Risk.

Skills/Experience
  • Subject matter expertise in PRA and EBA liquidity regulatory reporting rules and policies, particular focus on PRA110, LCR and NSFR
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex Matrix environment
  • Demonstrable expertise in planning and organization of complex tasks whilst demonstrating an ability to be innovative and creative in developing business solutions
  • Strong financial and regulatory understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas.
