Interim Procurement Manager (HR, Marketing & Professional Services)

Rate: £ per day (inside IR35 - rate to Umbrella)

Duration: 6-month contract (potential extension)

Location: Reading/Hybrid (one day per week in Reading office)

Sanderson are partnering with a leading financial services provider to identify an Interim Procurement Manager for an initial 6-month contract based remotely with one day per week on site in central Reading.

The Interim Procurement Manager will provide strategic sourcing and commercial support across multiple indirect categories. Candidates with specific indirect (such as HR, Marketing or Professional Services) category management experience are highly sought after, previous experience of working within the financial services industry is beneficial but not essential.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrable working experience of Senior Procurement or Category Management
  • Strong experience of leading and managing complex sourcing processes
  • Exposure of developing and negotiating complex supplier agreements
  • Leading and managing supplier relationships and contracts
  • Good business and commercial awareness
  • Strong stakeholder management and proven track record of building strong relationships at all levels
  • Financial services industry sector experience is highly desirable but not essential
