Description

Legal & General Investment Management are currently looking for a Client Reporting Analyst to join their Client Reporting team. The role holder will interact directly with our internal and external data providers, to ensure timely delivery of information into the reporting team. The Client Reporting Analyst will also interact directly with clients, consultants, and administrators.

They will be required to have a full understanding of the data, systems and strategic mandates and investments and pensions knowledge, using this to take ownership of producing and disseminating several reporting tasks on a cyclical basis ensuring the outputs are consistently centred on our clients' evolving requirements.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or other professional with investments and pension knowledge to launch their career within these areas.

Principal Accountabilities

  • The analyst will be responsible for the following:
    • Regulatory reporting
    • Audit reporting
    • Ad-hoc requests
    • Regular tasks
    • Platform reports
  • Oversight and ownership of the collation and the timely delivery of data to clients and consultants, ensuring services are delivered within agreed SLA guidelines, and in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate a good standard of Investment Management technical knowledge and an understanding of LGIM's products, brand, competitors, and clients.
  • Work with areas of expertise around the business to project manage ad-hoc queries and data requests, through to completion in line with client expectations.
  • Promote a procedural and control mind-set to ensure tasks and controls are consistently documented and reflected to allow top rate accuracy, quality and timeliness of deliverables provided to clients whilst mitigating risk.
  • Requirements

    • Strong academic background. Degree qualified within a relevant field, eg, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Investments, or relevant industry experience.
    • Knowledge regarding investments and pensions.
    • An understanding of the various investment vehicles and strategy types run by LGIM.
    • Significant attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Strong workflow management experience.
    • Must possess a good level of business 'gravitas'.
    • Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organised, highly team orientated.
    • Proactive and proven to work on your own initiative.
    • Previous experience in production of Reporting outputs to various stakeholders Internal/External clients (not necessarily in the Investment Management industry) or the ability to learn this quickly.
    • Experience of working within the investment management including providing an exceptional level of client service and support to clients or the ability to learn this quickly.
    • Experience of ESG reporting desirable.

    Additional Information

    • Initially a temporary contract for 26 weeks, with a view to extend or make permanent as this is a rapidly growing team, subject to business requirements.
    • Day rate of up to £150 (dependent on experience, inside of IR35 and uplifted rate of 18.55% will apply if going via an Umbrella company).
    • This is a hybrid role based out of the L&G office in Hove. Candidates must be able to attend the office at least 2 days a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
