YOUR TASKSØ As a Strategic Supply Manager, you act as a "Sparring partner" to the Procurement Team Leader of the Business Unit
Ø The broad scope of activities can touch different areas, such as overall Business Unit supply footprint and presentations to the Management
Ø You are responsible for the Sourcing, Purchasing and Logistics deliverables for a product line and you are a member of this product line project team
Ø Therefore, you are strongly contributing to its strategy, product development and profitability
Ø Management of selected commodities of components and service and/or directly sellable products
Ø Material group strategies development, supplier relationship management, negotiations and supply improvement projects together with different interna and external stakeholders are your main activities
YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS
Ø Completed technical or business degree in upper quartile
Ø Seven or more years of professional experience in supply as well as in international project management
Ø Effective communication skills, including evidence of structuring clear presentations and distilling the key messages for
Ø Strong analytical and implementation skills
Ø Excellent negotiation skills in German and English, further languages are beneficial
Ø Proficiency in numerical analysis and working with spreadsheets
Ø A proactive approach in identifying external trends and acting as change agent
Ø Consulting background required
Ø Willingness to travel
Ø Mindset to actively seeking to develop yourself
