Description

For one of the biggest food manufacturers in the world, I am looking for an IT Lead (based Remote or on-location) to join for a temporary contract of 6-12 months.

You will be responsible for overall delivery of IT Services for a business functional area(s) for Poland and various other EU countries. The IT Lead manages demand, focusing on service delivery, and building new business capabilities that will allow the business unit to gain a competitive advantage through technology. This role establishes priorities, and is accountable for providing tactical direction for all project and operational teams that support their functional area. The IT Lead support stakeholder relationships and is the primary point of contact for all IT enabled change initiatives within one or more functional areas. This role is accountable for benefit realization and customer satisfaction levels.

You will be responsible for:

· Providing the strategic and tactical direction to build an agreed to IT Systems Roadmap that reflects alignment between IT and business function

· Developing and create the IT roadmap for a business functional area(s) and facilitate alignment of functional strategic plans with the overall scope, roadmap and priorities of Global IT

· Building relationships with key Heinz business management process owners to understand needs, priorities and identify solutions. Proactively seek out and recommend best in class IT solutions for business problems.

· Owning the IT relationship with Key Users within the Zone.

· Providing the primary point of contact to the business unit for IT, interacting with COE, other Global IT teams.

· Responsible for demand planning and ensuring that projects are prioritised, planned, scheduled, monitored and communicated effectively

Accountable for delivery of IT Service to achieve the strategic vision and deliver expected results while also ensuring that the function's operational and tactical needs from IT are being met.

· Responsible for working with IT and business leadership to successfully initiate projects, establish the proper resource assignment and work allocation to ensure project's achieve intended business objectives.

· Responsible for ensuring effective post-implementation systems support is established for new systems for the functional area

· Collect, review and assess customer usage and feedback of systems on a regular basis and incorporate learning's into future developments

· Generate capital appropriation requests and establish service contracts to execute capital projects in line with agreed to systems investment roadmap.

· Establish and monitor service level agreements that represent business needs and work with infrastructure and application architecture team and partner with COE team to ensure warranty and utility of the technology programs.

Additional notes: No direct team to supervise. Manage a virtual team consisting of outsourced applications support and infrastructure IT professionals as well as project management responsibilities frequently utilizing outside consulting.
