Description
Monarch IT are working with a global financial firm based in Dublin who are looking to appoint a Senior Test Engineer on a 12 month contract, with a likely 12 month extension. This position will require you to work on site in Dublin 1/2 days per week. (Automation)Rate: Up to €725 per day
Duties:
- Lead complex enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple services/programs and drives resolution
- Identify opportunities and drive road maps to enhance primary service/function and team policies
- Define and develop procedures and solutions at a service level to meet the business requirements/enhancements
- Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery and development
- Provide development and architecture guidance to team members
- Build relationships and effective partnerships across organisations
- Conduct technical interviews for hiring engineering staff and raising the performance bar
Skills:
- Proven leadership skills with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management.
- Prove design and development experiences in multiple languages, secure coding standards (eg, OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT), and testing management.
- Demonstrate experience in technically leading testing teams and optimising all quality and operational gates during software promotion to production
- Skills to implement and verify all quality and operational gates during software promotion to production
- Experience with continually optimising modern software development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, XP, etc.)
