Description
To expand the team we are looking for a SAP Finance Lease Accounting Analyst working with the Global SAP Application Support team and Next Gen Finance Project team to participate in implementation and support the SAP SAI lease accounting solution to all entities whilst safeguarding the solution integrity. The Finance analyst will be required to gain an in depth understanding of the business processes and SAP functionality implemented within the corporate and the inter dependencies with other applications and teams.
Accountabilities
- Understand the end to end business process with regard to Lease accounting
- Understand the SAP SAI solution design from a functional and technical perspective
- Work with the SAP Finance Architects to support the current solution design and future enhancement of the solution to meet business requirements.
- Work closely with business/functional/technical/project teams
- Production Issue resolution - provide an effective interface between users and service providers working with all necessary diagnostic information.
- Monitor ITIL SLA's, project timelines, workload distribution etc. to ensure an effective SAP environment
- Defines application technical/business requirements with end-users in coordination with the development, functional and security teams.
- Recommends solution modifications, configurations, and processes
- Creates test plans for applications developed and write supporting documentation where required
Skills & Experience
- SAP functional consultant for S/4 Hana Finance with experience of SAP Accounting Integration (SAI) or strong ECC Lease accounting experience (FI-LA) .
- Knowledge of ECC Modules GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, PS, TRM beneficial.
- Knowledge of Abap Programming/Debugging is an advantage
- Strong S/4 Hana Finance experience from blueprint to go live including design and configuration
- Review and provide solutions for new business change requests.
- Detailed understanding and experience with the S/4 Hana technology, landscapes and any related interdependencies
- Developing software specifications in conjunction with business users and Business Analysts to resolve the request/problem in question.
- Provide recommendations on how to implement IT related change projects (release to live and post production), specifically applications supported by the role.
- Support the system and User Acceptance Test Phases for problems and small changes.
- Support the Architecture team in designing applications, specific to the application supported by the individual.
- Ensuring software delivered to fix the problem in question, is to required standard
- Co-ordinate any 3rd Party/Offshore development and support
- Adhering to the corporate development methodology in resolving problems in production systems; specific to applications supported by the role.
General
- Experience in managing BAU support workload together with change request management
- Ability to work as a project team member and plan deliverables.
- Good working knowledge of the English language. Additional language skills highly desirable.
- Has good planning skills, ability to manage own time and work within agreed timescales.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Build and create strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Education and Qualifications
- 3rd Level Degree educated in IT, recognised qualification in Information Technology or experience led equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 Hana.
- Experienced in dealing with professionals in other disciplines.
