Blue chip client is looking for an Agile Scrum Master/Delivery Manager.
Description:
The Digital communications services tribe is looking for a Tribe Scrum Master acting as a Delivery Manager responsible for the coordination and follow-up of infrastructure deliveries for the Tribe.
The department is on a journey of scaled agile transformation and requires to review its current delivery interactions with the waterfall projects and with the Infrastructure department working also in Agile.
The responsibilities of the delivery manager include:
Coordination of infrastructure deliveries for the Tribe
Close collaboration with the other Tribe Scrum Master delivery in the Tribe responsible for the delivery of our features
Support to the teams to help fixing infrastructure impediments
Close collaboration with the Tribe Test Engineer and Tribe Release Engineer
Active contribution to the tribe improvements on the way we manage the infrastructure requirements and the way interact with infrastructure teams for the follow-up of their delivery for the Tribe
Role
The delivery manager:
Is the escalation point for the teams on infrastructure configuration/delivery issues
Helps in troubleshooting at infra side
Helps teams to define infrastructure needs/requests
Helps improving the way we interact with Infrastructure
Qualifications:
Leadership/Drive
Strong soft skills
Dynamic/Enthusiast
Hands-on technical knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, IIS, networking (Firewall, load balancers, reverse Proxy, DNS, etc), storage, LDAP, PKI, etc
Good knowledge of infrastructure concepts: disaster recovery, network segmentation, performance analysis
Stress resistant
Team mindset
Experience:
Several years of experience on infrastructure projects/programs
Experience in an Agile Organization
excellent communication skills (verbal, written, active listening) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level
Ability to operate in a changing environment and to participate to the change
Experience in managing and coaching teams (virtual and direct ones)
Strong leadership skills
Strong negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills at different levels of management
proven experience to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control
Assertiveness in driving tasks to completion
Experience with offshoring
