Our client is currently looking to hire Senior Finance Analyst on a contractual basis.
Based From: London (One/Twice per week)
Rate: Negotiable Depending on Experience
Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:
Our client is currently delivering a major Finance Transformation project, which involves upgrading multiple finance systems across the Group. As a result the reporting, accounting structures and processes that are the output of these systems also require significant changes.
In order to ensure we can provide a seamless service to our business partners in division this role will be focused on the following:
- Reviewing existing management reporting to identify a suite of reports which are fit for future to help drive the financial performance across multiple divisions
- Once identified this role will lead on building these reports using functionality from the new system One Stream, including data retrieval formulae and QuickViews
- Look for opportunities to create new reporting, unlocking the value of the new structure of accounts called the Chart of Accounts (CoA)
- Working closely with the Finance Managers leading on the Transformation project and the Finance Manager to deliver the "dry run" processes in quarter one of the financial year (April to June) for the submission of the main month end deliverables to the FP&A team. This will involve uploading the (already created) monthly variance reports and monthly re-forecast into the new system, and will run alongside the existing excel based submissions.
- Supporting the Finance Managers for Finance Transformation in upskilling the wider Business Partnering team in how to use the system so they are ready to adopt the processes on a BAU basis from Go Live
- Through co-operation with Accounting and Reporting teams ensure that period end reporting can be completed from go live with a fit for purpose solution using new chart of accounts
- Look for wider opportunities across the team to adopt the new Chart of Accounts automated data to support our reporting and models
- Look for wider opportunities across the team to streamline and automate existing reporting
Key attributes we are looking for:
- An advanced Excel user
- OneStream Sytstems knowledge
- A proven track record in Systems change projects, report building, process improvement and streamlining
- A Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- A quick learner
