IT Manager, Oxford, £350 PD Inside IR35
We require an experienced IT Manager to join an Oxford based organisation on an initial one month contract. As the IT Manager you will work closely with the Head of IT to ensure that all aspects of their IT department are managed correctly. As the IT Manager you will also act as the lead on the development of their platforms focussing on monitoring and configuration of the systems.
This position has been deemed inside IR35 and the position will require someone to work onsite full time.
As the IT Manager you will ideally have the following experience, knowledge and skill sets:
- Experience of managing a small team and supporting a varied IT environment
- Strong Windows, Linux/Unix, Desktop, Server background
- Strong background and experience of configuration management and systems monitoring technologies
- Experience/knowledge of version control systems
- Any understanding of IP/TCP networks, VPN, Firewalls
- Experience with virtualised environments and private cloud
- Knowledge of web application hosting/development
- Any knowledge of Maria DB/PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of project management and IT service delivery
