Disaster Recovery Manager - £500 per day
Lorien are currently looking for a Disaster Recovery Manager to work for a leading IT service provider working from home. The initial contract will be 4 months initially with possiblity of extension beyond this point.
Candidates must be willing to go through BPSS clearance.
As the Programme IT DR and IT Service Continuity Manager, the key responsibilities would include:
- Ensure Business Continuity & Disaster recovery plans and exercises/tests are developed and conducted during the programme phases as per business requirements for all in scope IT functions.
- Maintain a comprehensive IT DR Plan testing schedule and oversee the coordination of DR and BC testing processes and resources
- Deep understanding of BCM and IT DR at both a technical and business level
- Collaborate closely with and manage relationships with any other DR stakeholders
- Support the Test Management team to write executive reports to summarize testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery process solution - work with Solution Architect to establish the DR design and build
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining program processes and practices which effectively ensure that the enterprise program remains current and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate, and adequately covers general regulatory requirements
- Institutionalization of a risk-aware culture
- Transition the BC and DR plans to the BTS organisation as part of any Service Transition/Activation activities
