Senior Finance Business Partner - £400pd Inside IR35 - 6 months - Edinburgh
Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner for a minimum 6-month period. This role will be based in Edinburgh; however, our client works on a hybrid model. You may occasionally have to travel to the Glasgow office when necessary.
You will receive a daily rate of £400 and the contract will see you INSIDE IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end accounting and reporting process and work with the finance business partner team and transaction teams and other units/sections to deliver accurate financial reporting information.
- Manage the annual and quarterly budget process including the production of key data and financial analysis. Maintain the organisation's budgeting and forecasting information, updating, and tracking any changes as required and Temporary Senior Finance Business Partner - Role Profile ensuring that all funding requirements have been accurately and comprehensively recorded, obtaining sign off as appropriate
- Support senior managers and budget holders by providing specialist advice on key strategic financial management issues including capital accounting, VAT compliance, budgeting and forecast outturns, financial planning, and risk management.
- Be a key point of contact for the finance business partner team and other Finance staff, providing support and guidance on financial management including budgeting and forecasting.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of managing a team, with the ability to communicate complex issues simply and effectively to a range of audiences
- Strong analytical skills - able to provide constructive challenge, identify opportunities for improving and streamlining processes.
- Membership of a CCAB professional body (or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
