Exciting opportunity for a B2B Customer Insights Manager to join this global Energy company to work hybrid of 1 or 2 days a week in the London office. They are open to candidates looking for full time or 4 days a week. This is a 3 month role with the potential for further extensions.

This is an exciting time to be joining this world-leading company as they transform themselves from a traditional Oil & Gas company into a leading name within the Renewables sector. This includes the creation of an already highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team as well as new ventures into various innovative solutions around the supply of Renewables including wind farms, electric vehicle charging, solar panel heating and battery storage. These innovative solutions provide opportunities for exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology.

Integrated Gas, Renewables & Energy Solutions is developing clean energy solutions to enable customers to meet their decarbonisation goals and deliver value to the business as part of the Powering Progress Strategy. Global Customer Solutions is responsible for driving the global customer agenda across our B2B and B2C businesses, covering global marketing, customer experience and product development and leading the global business for Technology, Commercial, Light Industry and Cities sectors.

This role sits in the Global Marketing team and is responsible for leading and delivering the B2B Insights programme with strong collaboration across Sectors and Decarbonisation mainly across US based stakeholders. Excellent customer understanding is the foundation of our business and fundamental to the development of relevant and differentiating customer value propositions and experiences.

The Role:

- Development of the B2B Insights programme for Global Marketing to ensure customer driven strategic decision making.
- Deliver B2B customer insights programme including segmentation, customer understanding, sector understanding and brand health tracking to support CVP development and business decisions.
- Own B2B Insights sources for customer and market energy trends to inform current and longer-term brand and marketing strategies. Summarise and disseminate as part of the ongoing Insights content programme.
- Develop and nurture key B2B insights to build and maintain global customer understanding models.
- Support the delivery of customer inspiration activities across the business to uncover new perspectives that drive long term marketing strategy and ensure the voice of the customer is heard in business decisions.
- Seek and identify opportunities for cross business B2B customer synergies enabling a customer centric and seamless experience of the brand for different customer groups.
- Support the creation and delivery of the Global Marketing Insights team content programme, including plan development, sharepoint updating and bulletin content creation.

The Candidate:
- Over 8 years B2B Customer insights experience in B2B customer insights delivery.
- Proven experience leading B2B insight projects spanning a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and diverse countries.
- Experienced in effective stakeholder management across multiple levels in a global organisation.
- Skilled at interpretation of customer insights and proven ability to translate insights into actionable business implications, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Inquisitive, self-starting, comfortable with autonomy and putting your opinion forward.
- Strong project management skills and proven ability in project delivery.
- Able to manage and extract the best from agency partners.
- A strong interest in developments in the energy transition and related macro industry trends: good knowledge of the broader energy transition business and technology innovations will be an advantage.

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
