QA Automation Transformation Manager- Wealth Management and Investments

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires a QA Transformation Manager within Financial service sector preferably in UK Wealth Management and Investments domain to be based in their client's office in Edinburgh, UK.

You may be able to work some days remotely until Covid abates.

This is a 6-month temporary contract to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities/Key Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in Quality Engineering Automation
  • 5+ years' experience in Quality Transformation
  • 2+ years' experience in big digital transformation programs
  • Experience in Financial Services (preferred in UK wealth management and investments)
  • Experience in Life & Pensions, Wealth Management, HR Payroll Systems.
  • Talented QA transformation manager who will work collaboratively to establish, evolve, guide and direct our digital engineering quality automation transformation.
  • The role will require effective partnership with customer quality head, business stakeholders and other technical SMEs along with customer delivery owners.
  • Collaborate with Customer quality owners to effectively own the digital quality engineering platform and QA strategy
  • Close co-ordination with business stakeholders for effective QA acknowledgement and practice
  • Cultivate internal knowledge around the quality engineering teams and plan continuous enhancement
  • Collaborate with QA leads about the effective end to end usage of tools and metrics
  • Guide and direct quality engineering standards and automation frameworks
  • Ability to think in terms of design thinking, digital channels, and multi-system experiences
  • Mastery of AGILE shift-left quality transformation
  • Good knowledge in quality automation and strategies
  • Strong experience in programming in the past
  • Outstanding knowledge of team management and their technical growth
  • Experienced, detail-orientated strong knowledge of test strategies covering SDLC Lifecycle
  • Understanding of CI/CD and automation
  • Experience in digital transformation programs
  • Highly experienced in working in the full life cycle of Lean/Agile delivery model
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivating and self-improving
  • Effectively communicate and present complex conceptual thinking diagrammatically and verbally
  • Outstanding customer and stakeholder management.
  • Associate should be able to propose and convince customer in terms of implementing industry standard best practices, wherever applicable
