Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Coach
You will demonstrate energy, excellent communication and influencing skills, coupled with a genuine drive for transformational change utilising lean/continuous improvement (CI) techniques.
You will have experience of delivering operational excellence based on data focused decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Lean & Six Sigma training programme (levels 3-6) to ensure learners achieve certification as determined by independent assessment
- Deliver training to a defined training plan within timeframes agreed with external stakeholders and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership
- Demonstrate coaching, influencing and relationship management at all levels and upskill learners in Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.
- Deliver consultancy and advice to achieve results (Value-stream mapping, 6S, Change management etc.)
- Review existing training programme and lead the design of new training programmes (incl. delivery methods, practical simulations and presented materials)
- Work with business leaders to apply data driven and practical problem-solving solutions
- Innovate to deliver effective solutions to overcome challenges
Requirements:
- Lean & Six Sigma Green belt qualification as a minimum
- Strong statistical software experience (Minitab), the ability to analyse results and communicate insights
- Practical application of PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D, DOE, OEE, Process capability, Root-cause, hypothesis testing and other statistical techniques
- Experience of deploying Six Sigma & Lean methodologies in a data-rich service environment to drive change management alongside excellent project management skills, with knowledge of DMAIC, DFSS or other methodologies
- Ability to provide participants and learners with an understanding of Six Sigma and/or Lean principles and their connections to process improvement
