Intelligent Resource Recruitment is working in partnership with a major Client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for Finance Budget Manager to be Remote/Glasgow based out
Job Title= Finance Budget Manager
Location = Remote/Glasgow
Duration= End of Financial Year initially (Potential to extend)
Responsibilities:
- Project role to provide quality financial insight to the Business, Leadership Team, and wider Finance teams across and senior stakeholders improve the operational finance tracking process and to instigate a management system for spend control with continuous improvement initiatives across the function
- Strategic Review of the Budget, assessment of income and expenditure costs, improving the finance data standards
- Build management system to enable effective operationally tracking and monthly management performance reporting
- Enhance the management and governance process of Spend approvals
- Assess contract spend inputs and develop forecasting tools
- Develop management reports and KPI tracking
- Track and manage costs for investment programme, ensuring accurate cost categorisation and management.
Experience Required Essential:
- Experience in central government financial management, financial analysis, and financial planning
- Structured and organized with first-class analysis experience, Problem-solving capabilities, able to build relationships and influence people
- You will pro-actively manage your own workload and responsibilities, demonstrating effective leadership to manage multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities to deliver effective outcomes
- Demonstrate process management skills with the ability to communicate across a varied team
- Good analytical skills with the ability to design and develop performance metrics
- Experience working with closely with commercial teams operations
- Development and delivery of operational reports to a high standard
- SC Cleared
