£400 - £450 per day

Our client, an IT Consultancy giant, has a position for a User Researcher to join their dynamic team, building solutions for a public sector client. Their mature Agile environment will give you a great working environment to collaborate with fellow specialists across disciplines, delivering user-centric digital services.

What will you do?

  • Planning, designing, and conducting in-house research to test new service ideas and concept development
  • Working closely with the team to turn user data into actionable user stories that influence product/service direction and prototype development
  • Managing ad-hoc qualitative/quantitative research projects such as proposition development, visual identity, and customer experience mapping
  • Presenting findings, recommendations, and customer insights to senior decision makers
  • Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with technical and non-technical team members in the wider digital team and across government

  • Experience of working within multi-functional Agile teams
  • Previous experience in a User Researcher role
  • Experience of working within the Government Digital Service (GDS) environment with experience of following and working to GDS standards
  • Experience of delivery using an iterative/agile methodology (eg Agile/SCRUM)
  • Experience of agile collaboration tools (eg Atlassian Jira, Agile for Scrum, Confluence)
