Operational Risk Manager - Technology, Risk, Ops, Regulations, Controls, Financial ServicesA leading financial data & analytics organisation is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager who specialises in technology aligned risk to join their business for an initial 6 month contract.
The position will operate as the 1st line of defence for technology risk across the organisation. This will involve ensuring current and emerging risks are proactively identified and managed through control mechanisms and procures. In an effort to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the wider organisational policy.
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in operational resilience, and/or operational risk management across technology, within financial services.
- Must have experience developing operational risk governance, policy frameworks and reporting.
- Experience in risk management, data analytics, business intelligence, and scenario analysis would be an advantage
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking a problem-solving skill
- Understanding of financial services industry and products.
- Experience with standard and best practice in Operational Resilience Framework, Risk Management and COBIT control is preferable.
