Senior Product ManagerStart: ASAP
Length: 12 Months Contract + Extensions
Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
Location: 2/3 Days in Belgium,Zaventem and 2/3 Days Remote
Essential Languages: English & Dutch is a must!
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Manager, you are responsible for the entire product life cycle of ICT applications and products. From the strategic change to the operational run and you work in close consultation with your (internal) customers, team, and stakeholders towards a continuous improvement of the functionality of your product (s) and applications.
- You will report directly to the Service Manager Passenger Services
- Managing the ICT services of the product with associated applications.
- Managing the run based on Service Level Agreements and the life cycle of the various underlying applications
- Managing the entire budget for the run of the product (part of the larger service budget)
- Building and maintaining customer contacts including respecting clear agreements
- Monitor external market changes as well as internal evolutions for inspiration to identify improvements to the run.
- Implementing the change/strategy
- Starting from the customer needs, your product knowledge, your market knowledge, and you as a key stakeholder must provide input for the roadmap of the service manager
- You create business cases for your product and underlying solutions.
- You implement the roadmap by setting up, delegating, and following up projects for your product. You spend a maximum of 50% of your time on project management.
Experience
- You obtained a master's degree or equivalent through experience
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience with proven track record
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge with ICT Concepts
- Demonstrable knowledge of SQL
- Experience within sectors with a strong customer service aspect is an asset
- You have a strong knowledge of project, program, and product management
- Strong demonstrable experience in People Management
- Demonstrable experience in the aviation and/or logistics sector is a MUST
- You are customer-oriented, have experience with external customer contact at C-level level,
- You can convince by your diplomacy and negotiation skills
- You have organisational talent, and you are result-driven & analytical
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch. You have a good knowledge of the second national language and English and you can make yourself understood in both languages. French is certainly also a plus
People management and product leadership
- Motivate, manage, lead teams with different profiles of different levels and across multiple departments in the organisation and/or beyond
- Actively promote knowledge building and transfer of your team in the related product and business domain
- User groups for your product with representatives from different
assisting business units or from different companies
