Infrastructure Project Manager

Description

• The first assignment is to take over a number of ongoing technical projects with a different character.
• Further expansion with other infrastructure projects in mutual consultation. These can be very varied in nature (Database, Middleware, LAN, Virtual Platforms, Linux/Windows, etc...
• Budget = Resource budget ICT IS Platform

• Bringing the delivery of infrastructure projects within scope, time and budget to a good result.
• Follow the internal processes for the delivery of the projects

• Defining and validating the scope and content of the project
• The planning and organization of the project, setting up a Governance
• The efficient use of the budget and the allocated resources
• The correct and objective communication about the evolution of the project
• The delivery of the project while respecting the deadlines, the allocated budget and the quality standards
• The integration of the project into the organization (business, architecture, method, standards, .. etc..)
• Monitoring scope, timing, quality, resources
• Respect of release procedures, with mitigation of risks based on stability
• Integrate into a team of Project Leaders & Technical Coordinators
• Important skills: Conflict handling, Communicative, Motivating, Team player, Familiar with Agile working (Kanban, experience with definition of epics/features/stories)
• Good knowledge and practical experience with MS Project, JIRA
• General knowledge of the different IT technologies (architecture, technical infrastructure such as databases, middleware, virtual platforms, network, ... etc.)

• Deliverables for the run phase
• Delivering Deployplan: Design & mitigation of risks during release, and possibly during operations
• Focus on the correct application of change & release management with the necessary tests
• Internal contacts
• Daily contact with DI management, project employees & representatives of the Business
• Regular contact with suppliers & external partners
