Duties

Join our client's UK Marketing Team for an exciting opportunity as our Paid Social Media Manager, a critical role driving paid social for our UK business. In partnership with our media agency, you will be responsible for leading acquisition and awareness across the entire suite of paid social channels. Reporting directly into the Senior Commercial and Performance Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have a strong background in planning, developing and implementing highly successful social media campaigns. This is a high-profile role with great visibility across the teams managing a multi-million-pound budget. The role would suit a candidate that has experience in managing and briefing paid social agencies but also has the expertise to set up and launch in-house campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the paid social media strategy across the full suite of social platforms
  • Partner with the digital media agency to brief, plan & launch integrated paid social campaigns
  • Partner with the organic social team to input into and build the wider social roadmap (Both paid and organic) ensuring all social activity is optimized
  • Support the organic social team to plan and execute in-house campaigns
  • Lead the analytics and reporting framework to actively measure the impact of our social media strategy and provide clear actionable insights to help drive media performance
  • Partner with internal teams to provide social strategy recommendations on ad creative, copy and landing pages to optimize performance for acquiring new, valuable customers
  • Provide support in the planning and execution of mobile app campaigns across Apple Search and UAC in partnership with the digital agency
  • Provide continuous customer and market insights to shape your strategy and influence decisions across the business
  • Stay up to date on latest media, technology, industry and competitor trends and translate these into new acquisition opportunities

Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing paid social campaigns (either in-house or through an agency) with a focus on direct response/conversion-focused campaign
  • In-platform execution experience setting up campaigns and optimization (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok)
  • Experience in briefing and managing media agencies with large budgets
  • Analytical focus with experience of assessing media performance and reporting back to the business
  • Testing mindset to quickly validate hypotheses and drive incrementality
  • Familiarity with pixel placement for retargeting and attribution
  • Proven networking/cross-functional skill set
