Description
This role is a long term contract 6 months based on a hybrid working pattern 2days from home and 3 days onsite. The role has been deemed to be inside IR35.You must have live current UK government Security cleared to SC level, and be a senior training consultant project manager to oversee the development of digital learning content for a large central government organisation .
Full knowledge of the training development cycle would be required and working closely with SME subject matter experts as the content would be of a highly regulated nature. Also have good knowledge of e learning design tools and digital learning is preferred .
Requirement
- Engage with the customer to provide advice and ongoing support to the Product Owners in delivering a programme of external training sessions, including thinking about how best to deliver different sessions/content for different audiences
- Think thoroughly about how information is going to be presented in terms of accessibility, diagrams, formats etc. within the confines of the organisation's style guide
- Liaise with Product Owners (and Creative Communications team) to keep to manageable/agreed timescales
- Manage and oversee the development and delivery of the training products and processes and work with business personnel and project contacts for timely reviews and product sign-offs
- Quality assure the training products before delivering to the customer ensuring user guides are uniform, high quality and consistent with industry best practice
- Oversee multiple training sessions and agree a manageable time commitment from internal staff
- Monitor user attendance levels at training events and report results
- Manage changes and updates to the training products following any pilot phases if required
- Manage and escalate risks, issues, delays etc. via the approved project reporting structure
- Act as the single point of contact for the training team members
- Build strong relationships within the business and project teams
- Represent the training workstream at stakeholder meetings and for any escalations and feedback
- Attend project review/checkpoint meetings and provide regular progress reports
- Close down the training workstream, document the achievements and any lessons learnt
Skills/Experience
- Experience of designing and delivering classroom based/virtual learning events and training support collateral
- Proven track record of managing training projects in the financial sector
- Commercial experience across a range of learning and support disciplines in corporate environments
- Excellent verbal, written and communications skills
- Proven ability at managing and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong organisational and planning skills with a solid attention to detail
- Experience of managing team members
