Junior Counter Fraud Data AnalystActive SC required
12 Month Contract
Hybrid (London, Manchester or Bristol)
Inside IR35 up to £200 P/D
The Role
- Review and analyse alerts from live service data and our threat intelligence platform - writing suspicious activity reports and escalating where necessary
- Create regular intelligence and fraud reports for a range of stakeholders, and clearly communicating relevant insights
- Support the creation of risk assessments and relevant policies
- Input to team requirements for the fraud products 3
- Identify and support implementation fraud team data requirements, including creating dashboards where needed
- Understand the data flows for the product, and any relevant retention periods
- Support larger scale analysis across longer time periods
- Create runbooks to ensure a standardised BAU operation
- Support engagement activities with a range of stakeholders across the programme and government
- Remain alert to emerging fraud issues and trends
- Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends and insights from multiple data sources and large datasets
- The ability to present data analysis and insights using appropriate visualisation methods
- The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- The ability to build effective relationships with people within the team
- Interest in the counter-fraud space
- The ability to work in a complex and fast-moving environment
