ESM IT Project Manager
38 hours per week, Initial 10 month contract
*On site requirement in North Amsterdam 3 days per week is essential
Context:
We are looking for a senior IT project manager who can assist us leading the Enterprise Service Management software implementation.
The project entails the replacement of the on-prem ITSM solution with a new Enterprise Service Management cloud platform. Scope ESM are modules: incident, request, problem, change, asset, config and service level mngt
Team spirit, strong communication skills and stakeholder management is required with the ability to work closely with business counterparts, architecture, security, suppliers and other internal IT departments.
The project is in start-up phase so an IT project manager is expected to be able to bring the project through initiation, execution and closing based on Prince II methodologies and best practices within our framework. As IT project manager you will be part of the IT technology department and will report to the Steerco and Portfolio manager Dev&Ops. You will be responsible for the execution of the project in accordance with agreed timelines, deliverables, quality and costs.
The expectation of the candidate is that he/she is able to be self-propelled and self-motivated. Management of stakeholders is key.

Be a sparring partner for the business and IT providing project management advice
Maintains and expands their professional network related to the business domain and relevant technology areas
Gather requirements in consultation with business analyst and IT architect
Ability to implement the business/organizational change required by the Project
Actively acquires and shares business processes and IT solutions knowledge
Identify issues and escalate them to the relevant teams
Follow Prince II documentation and stage gates within our framework
Organize migration and handover
Knowledge of/experience with risk management
Dutch and English speaking (documentation to be done in English)
Experience with ESM implementations at large companies
Preferable certificates:
ITIL 4 or equivalent
IPMA-C/B
