THE JOB - Just opened up, got talk with former colleague next week who could be fitted candidate but already in other processes.
Within MGA org administrate lots of products, also admin lots that are non selling. Aim is in 4 years to convert them to selling catalogue, needs a lot help with analysis, old vs new products, support digital team, client groups, administration & underwriters to communicate between these teams.
Complex organization so needs some one who is self sufficient.
Project is a product rationalization from products and scaling down to .

  • Only looking at 500 policies and upwards per product, so the more complex products.
  • Focus on commercial & private lines.

Location(s): Rotterdam Duration: - with additional year extension.
Hours per week: 38.50
Remote flex: Hybrid - located around Breda, eindhoven and rotterdam. 1-2 days per week in office.

Analyse non-selling catalogue

What types of products are inside.

Are there specific conditions in product which are diversion on based of products for branch or client organization.

Do they want to continue with this product or not? Decision make with team.

Negotiate deal with carrier to make new proposal for new branch org or group of clients in new selling product.

Mapping on label level non-selling to selling.

Can the products be determined with risk in place or looked at further by underwriter.

Translating business rules to mapping for IT.

Being able to communicate and manage stakeholders. They need to be informed.

What will the changes be in product & impact in product.

Must Have Skillset/technologies What else? Culture fit? Industry background? Get a list Prioritise the wish list into order, speaking language?

Experience in product rationalization and conversion within MGA or Carriers (like NN or ASR) in the role as a product manager or product specialist.

This profile must have a strong focus on product rationalization and conversion.

Insurance experience - Commercial lines.

Nonlife experience - P&C, damage, liability, etc.

Good in all of these areas:

Analyzing, mapping, defining conversion business rules, possible negotiation of these rules with carriers, writing conversion specifications and instructions.

Focus on conversion and mapping of large portfolio's (> 500 policy's per product), we are not looking for underwriters to place an individual client, policy or risk. NOT AN UNDERWRITER.

Analyse, Map portfolio, signal gaps, where do they need to do additional deals with carriers, impact if moving too fast, what does this mean for client facing teams, what are alternatives.
