Description
We are looking for a Category Manager to work for our Public Sector health care client.
Location: Remote working- Occasional travel to the midlands
Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate will have passion for Category management with the following skills:
- Experience of working as part of a category team including category management strategy initiation, planning and development
- Evidence of successful management of large spend and delivery of consistent value to a complex customer base
- Knowledge and experience in managing and mitigating risks
- Experienced in running complex, large-scale public-sector procurement exercises
- In-depth experience in procurement, operations, or a related field.
- Experience of the application and delivery of cost management principles and category management processes.
- Knowledge of OJEU and PCR2015
Desirable skills:
- Previous experience of and knowledge of procurement within the health care industry
- Demonstrable experience of working in collaboration with a wide range of public sector organisations including government regulatory experience.
- Professional membership of CIPS or MCIPS qualified
