Service Desk Analyst - £160p/d - INSIDE IR35 - 6 months - Bedford/Chelmsford/Norwich

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst on a 6-month contract basis. This role will have you reporting onsite in Bedford, Chelmsford or Norwich.

You will receive a competitive daily rate of up to £160 and the contract will see you Inside IR35.

The successful candidate will provide 'second line' technical support to the IT users located across all sites, the main responsibilities including:

  • Ensuring a range of IM&T information is processed in accordance with policies and procedures, while investigating a range of IM&T issues.
  • Advising users on systems/policy.
  • Developing or adapting a range of software/web pages/information reports or installing/maintaining a range of hardware and software, or analysing/interpreting a range of information/data.
  • Implementing, documenting and reviewing procedures and processes to improve functionality and store in an easily accessible central repository.
  • Provide specialist technical advice and training to users and team members

I would love to speak with you if you have the skills and experience including:

  • Excellent communication skills and understand the importance of providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to make decisions while balancing the varying priorities of open IT Incidents and Requests.
  • Have the aptitude to understand and work on computer hardware and software in varying configurations.
  • Have gained or be working to achieve MCDST, MCITP, MCP or equivalent qualifications.
  • Able to communicate highly complex technical system matters to non-technical staff clearly and in a manner whereby they are able to fully understand the issues.
  • Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot calls, provide advice and fault resolution in accordance with the IM&T Service Level Agreements.
  • Can accurately analyse user requirements and configure hardware and software accordingly.
