Project environment

A Swiss Bank in Zurich is looking for a Senior Project Manager. The project goal is define and sign-off requirements which a strategic product and portfolio risk methodology must fulfil. Therefore, one has prepare and decide on “make or buy” and provider selection and implement the chosen solution into the current IT landscape. In that context, the roadmap for the implementation hast o be defined in the context of the new platform and the governance and processes of the product & portfolio risk hast o be (re-)defined.


Tasks

This mandate is a typical project management role. Therefore the Senior Project Manager has to:
• Manage project stakeholders.
• Manage communication.
• Manage project team.
• Manage project risk and project schedule.
• Manage the project budget and the project conflicts.
• Manage the project delivery.


Requirements

• Focus is on project management skills, in particularly Project Management Methodology Knowledge; organisation, coordination and planning behaviour; controlling & execution behaviour and conflict management.
• Equivalent IPMA B/C or PMP certificated would be an advantage.
• Sound banking know-how and experience, background in Banking-IT is an advantage.
• Fluent in German and English (oral and written).
