Description
We are urgently seeking an IT Tools Manager to begin work on a Fixed Term Contract position of 18 Months (with the possibility of extension) with our client in the energy sector, initially based in Paris.The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in related projects.
- Knowledge of SAP, Primavera, Unifier and/or VPRM.
- Understanding of project Information Management Systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent client facing skills with the confidence to influence and deal with people at all levels
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
- French speaking advantageous
- Specific nuclear experience is not necessary.
The IT Tools Manager will be responsible for identifying and setting requirements for new project tools and improvement/integration of existing tools.
This role will report directly to the PMO Manager
Key Responsibilities:
The IT Tools Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Acts as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current systems.
- Evaluates new applications, system requirements, developments in field of expertise, and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function.
- Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
- Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures.
