Senior Geotechnical EngineersOur client is a major engineering consultancy with extensive operations across the UK and Europe, with expertise in the fields of energy, highways & roads, light rail, sustainable buildings and water.
Your Role
- Interpretative reports
- Design and management of site investigations
- Site supervision
- Production of specifications
- Geotechnical calculation and analysis
About You
- First degree in civil engineering/engineering geology
- Post graduate degree in geotechnical engineering/soil mechanics
- Have or actively seeking Chartered status as an engineer or geologist
- Substantial post graduate experience with proven project management skills
- Experience in design and management of site investigations, design of deep and shallow foundations, earthworks, retaining walls, ground improvement and slope stability analysis
- Fully up to date with the latest industry standards including Eurocode 7
- Recent experience within the UK transportation industry would be preferable but not essential.
