I am currently recruiting for a Civil Construction Manager who can hit the ground running on a new build Energy from Waste project based in the West Midlands on a long-term contract basis.A competitive rate of pay is on offer here aswell as a quick start for the right candidate.
My client are the Civil contractor on the site and have a large package of Civil works to be undertaken including, groundworks, roadworks, slipforming, reinforced concrete, piling, drainage.
We need an experienced Construction Manager with a background in civils/ heavy civils and ideally technical expertise with several of the above aspects of the project.
You should possess a formal HSE qualification minimum requirements SMSTS/ safety passport and have a good knowledge of UK regulations and site safety procedures.
Communication is also a very important aspect of the role and you should be abale to liaise with the client, senior project management and sub-contractors alike to ensure progress of the works.
In terms of industry experience then we will consider candidates from various background including Petrochemical, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Marine, Commercial aslong as they have been involved with large scale, new build sites.
